The United States Postal Service had contracted with AuthentiDate corporation to develop a secured Electronic Postmark technology to enable legal and healthcare professionals electronic signing and distribution of paperless documents in a manner that has the legal court strength. I developed the front end for this sophisticated system in 2005-2006. The solution: A web portal that looks and feels like a familiar email client, but with the extended flows that enable signing and checking authenticity of documents in an advanced drag and drop interface. The creative branding challenge was the need to keep the USPS brand standards with the knowledge that at the end of the government contract the product would require a corporate re-branding at minimal cost and time. The new brand, Inscrybe has been in use since 2008.
